1. Does your state offer tax incentives? Yes.

b. Does the state have script content approval for incentive qualification? The state of Texas is not required to make payments to projects that include content that portrays Texas or Texans in a negative fashion.

2. Are there sales tax discounts or rebates? An up-front sales tax exemption is available on many of the items and services used directly in production. Please visit http://governor.state.tx.us/film/incentives/tax_exemptions/ for more information.

4. Are there any locations, state or local fees offered at no charge?
a. Police/Fire? Some municipalities include limited use to encourage filming.

10. Please specify your weather patterns. The Summers in Texas provide long stretches of clear skies and warm temperatures throughout the state. Our rainy season is mainly in the Spring (March-April) and sometimes the early Fall (September-October) as seasons begin to change. Generally, though, showers are short and intense, and rainy periods don't usually last more than one or two days. The Winters in Texas are fairly mild with only occasional, short-lived Winter weather that is usually limited to the northern regions of the state.
