FilmUSA.org is a service brought to you by volunteer members of the Producers Guild of America FilmUSA Committee.
The Producers Guild of America’s FilmUSA Committee provides the entertainment community with the latest information on domestic filming incentives, legislative updates, critical state-by-state infrastructure details, news updates, and other useful tools for researching, budgeting or prepping to shoot on location. Our goal is to educate producers in order to stem the tide of productions leaving the USA for strictly financial reasons. FilmUSA also produces regular seminars, including the "On The Ground With" series for the annual Produced By Conference, and other events designed with the task of gathering resourced material for productions.
To further assist in our goal of educating producing teams on the benefits and challenges of shooting in the U.S.A, we maintain and update our website, FilmUSA.org, This site is a one-stop-shop for quick and concise information related to production in every US state and territory. FilmUSA.org is free of charge for all!
Many films leave the country for creative purposes, which all of us support. Unfortunately many productions are forced from this country solely due to cost. We encourage everyone to stay up-to-date with domestic production incentive information which can assist Producers in making the USA a financially viable alternative. This is a cause which benefits each and every one of us, our communities and the United States of America.
