Help California Film Tax Credit Extension Legislation – Senate Bill 1167

The State Senate Committee of Local Governance and finance will be voting on legislation vital to the extension of the California Film Tax Credit.

Senate Bill 1167 seeks to extend this credit for another five years. The measure has the support of many on the industry:

California Chamber of Commerce; , California Labor Federation;  California Retailers Association; , California Taxpayers Association; California Teamsters Public Affairs Council; Cities of Los Angeles and Santa Clarita;  County of Placer;  Directors Guild of America; Film Liaisons in California Statewide;  Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce; Lucy Steffens, Sacramento Film Commissioner; Motion Picture Association of America, Inc.;  NBC Universal;  Paramount Pictures;  San Diego Film Commission;  Teamsters Local Union 399; Vallejo/Solano County Film Office;  Valley Industry and Commerce Association; Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists One Union;

Film Liaisons of California (FLICS); Valley Industry and Commerce Association
